Minimum Age: The main driver and any additional drivers must be at least 21 years old (subject to a young driver surcharge up to and including 24 years old).
Maximum Age: The maximum permitted age is 80 years old (a senior driver surcharge may apply).
Driving License: It is mandatory to present a valid and current driving license, with a minimum seniority of 2 years (depending on the vehicle group). Non-EU/Schengen licenses must be accompanied by an International Driving Permit.
Identification: A valid Passport or ID card.
Payment Method: A credit or debit card (depending on the booked rate) in the name of the main driver is required.
Rates: Prices include VAT, mandatory third-party liability insurance, and basic roadside assistance.
Premium Coverage (No Excess/Franchise): Exempts the customer from paying the excess and covers common damages (wheels, windows, bodywork).
Interior/Exterior Damage: The insurance will not cover interior or exterior damage to the vehicle caused by misuse or negligence/fault of the customer.
Exclusions: No insurance covers damage due to negligence (driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, refueling with the wrong fuel, loss or breakage of keys, or driving on unpaved roads). Furthermore, insurance will not cover the theft of personal belongings inside the vehicle nor the theft of the vehicle if the keys are left inside.
Required Documentation: In the event of theft or an incident, the customer must always provide the corresponding police report or amicable accident report to notify the insurance company.
Full/Full: The vehicle is delivered with a full tank and must be returned in the same condition.
Incomplete Refueling: If returned incomplete, the cost of the missing fuel plus a refueling service charge will be billed.
Schedules and Delays: A specific pick-up or return time will be agreed upon, requiring punctuality from both parties. In the event of a return delay exceeding half an hour, the company may claim potential damages caused by the non-return regarding the cancellation of subsequent rentals due to delays or non-returns.
Modifications: Contract modifications must be requested by the customer with sufficient advance notice and cannot take effect without authorization from the rental company.
Cancellations:
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pick-up (depending on the rate).
Late cancellations or "No Shows" (failure to appear) will not be eligible for a refund.
Borders: Crossing international borders or traveling between islands (or between the mainland and islands) is not permitted without express authorization and the purchase of the corresponding cross-border insurance.
Prohibitions: Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited. It is also forbidden to transport animals without an approved pet carrier, use the car for public transportation of passengers or goods, or participate in races.
